Day 1: Arrival in Cairo and Check-In

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, our friendly Sea World Holidays representative will be there to greet you, holding a sign with your name. You'll then be escorted in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Giza.
After checking in smoothly with the assistance of our staff, you can settle into your room. Take a moment to review the itinerary for your Egypt Classic Tours, which includes exciting excursions from Cairo to Alexandria, and note the pick-up times for your activities.
As you unwind, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink on us.

Day 2: Pyramids Sightseeing Tour
Start your day with a delightful breakfast at your hotel in Cairo before embarking on an unforgettable tour of the Giza pyramids with our knowledgeable guide.
Giza Necropolis
The Great Pyramid of Cheops:
Marvel at the monumental Great Pyramid, built around 4,500 years ago during the Old Kingdom. You'll have the option to enter the pyramid and explore its interior or capture stunning photos of this architectural wonder while your guide shares its fascinating history.
The Pyramid of Chephren:
Visit the second pyramid, built by Chephren, the son of Cheops. Slightly smaller than his father's, this pyramid is accompanied by the iconic Sphinx, the largest of its kind in Egypt.
The Pyramid of Mycerinus:
Admire the smallest of the three pyramids, constructed for King Mycerinus of the Fourth Dynasty. From a high plateau, you can also enjoy an optional camel ride for breathtaking views and memorable photos.
The Great Sphinx:
Explore the Great Sphinx, a majestic guardian of the necropolis, carved from a single limestone block and measuring 73 meters long, combining the features of a lion and a human.
The Valley Temple:
Visit this ancient temple located in front of the Sphinx, used for the ritual known as the "opening of the mouth," which allowed the deceased to partake in the afterlife.
Memphis City:
Enjoy a 35-minute drive to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, where you can explore an open-air museum filled with remarkable artifacts from the time of King Menes, who unified the two lands over 5,000 years ago.
Saqqara:
Proceed to the Saqqara necropolis, one of the world's oldest archaeological sites. Here, you'll discover the Step Pyramid, designed by the famed architect Imhotep for King Djoser, recognized as the first stone structure in history.
The tour includes access to the pyramid of Teti, adorned with intricate hieroglyphs and cartouches, which display the names and titles of ancient kings. You'll also visit a beautifully decorated Mastaba tomb showcasing vibrant scenes of daily life in ancient Egypt.
After a day filled with exploration, enjoy a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant in the village of Saqqara before heading back to your hotel in Giza.

Day 3: Egyptian Museum and Cairo Tour
After enjoying a hearty breakfast at your hotel, prepare for another exciting day of your Egypt Classic Tour.
Egyptian Museum:
Your licensed guide will first take you to the Egyptian Museum, one of the world’s most renowned museums. Explore its extensive collection of Egyptian antiquities, displayed across two floors. Don’t miss the royal treasures of the golden pharaoh Tutankhamun, which are showcased in a dedicated exhibit.
Citadel of Saladin:
Next, head to the Citadel of Saladin, which served as the center of the Egyptian government for centuries. Here, you will visit the stunning Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, a beautiful example of Ottoman architecture in Egypt. Enjoy the panoramic views of Islamic Cairo, with its historic mosques, towering minarets, and vibrant domes, some dating back over a thousand years.
Coptic Cairo:
Your tour continues in Coptic Cairo, where you'll see the Roman fortress of Babylon and the remarkable Hanging Church of the Holy Virgin Mary (Al Mualaka). This unique church is built above the fortress’s towers.
Visit the Church of St. Sergius, believed to be the site where the Holy Family stayed during their time in Egypt, and see the spring that provided them with water.
Then, explore Ben Ezra Synagogue, traditionally said to be located where the basket of baby Moses was discovered.
Lunch: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your adventure.
Khan El Khalili Bazaar:
After lunch, dive into the bustling atmosphere of Khan El Khalili bazaar, located in the heart of medieval Islamic Cairo. Wander through its vibrant stalls, explore the ancient walls and gates, and stroll the historic streets that date back to the 10th century.
At the end of your day, our representative will escort you back to your hotel for a restful evening.

Day 4: Alexandria Sightseeing Tour
After a delightful breakfast at your hotel, get ready to embark on a fascinating day trip to Alexandria, guided by your expert English-speaking Egyptologist. You'll travel in comfort in an air-conditioned vehicle, with a break along the way to stretch your legs.
Arrival in Alexandria:
Known as the "Pearl of the Mediterranean," Alexandria was founded by Alexander the Great in 332 B.C. As the second capital of Egypt, it boasts a rich history and stunning coastal views.
Pompey’s Pillar:
Your first stop will be at Pompey’s Pillar, a monumental column erected in 297 B.C. to commemorate the victory of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. This impressive structure stands as a testament to Alexandria's historical significance.
Catacombs of Kom El Shokkafa:
Next, you'll explore the Catacombs of Kom El Shokkafa, one of the largest Roman burial sites discovered in the 20th century. These intricate underground tombs offer a glimpse into ancient burial practices and the blend of Egyptian and Roman cultures.
Citadel of Qaitbay:
Enjoy a scenic drive along the coast to the Citadel of Qaitbay, which is built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. This fortress offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Bibliotheca of Alexandria:
Visit the modern Bibliotheca of Alexandria, a tribute to the ancient library that was once the largest in the world. Founded in the early 3rd century B.C. by Ptolemy I, this cultural center is dedicated to preserving and promoting knowledge and scholarship.
Lunch: No trip to Alexandria is complete without indulging in fresh seafood! Enjoy a delicious lunch prepared with the finest ingredients, reflecting the city’s rich culinary heritage.
After a day full of exploration and discovery, you'll be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 5: Cairo Departure
